To reach their economic goals, artists must be equipped to effectively compete in a rapidly changing business and technological environment. First, artists must retain control of the intellectual property rights in their works. Second, artists must establish a surperior licensing presence in available secondary markets for their works, and create new secondary markets. Third, artists must learn more about how to use new business and technological models to control and exploit their intellectual property rights and content in the networked environment. Organized by and for professional illustrators, the Illustrators' Partnership is responding to these issues and many more.
